Terms of Use

The service
PressageVinyle.ca, operated by Jean-Philippe Métivier in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, provides information about vinyl pressing and lathe cutting, and a quote request service connecting you with Canadian pressing plants and cutting contacts. The site acts as an information and referral intermediary. It does not manufacture records and does not sell records.
Quotes, prices and timelines
Quotes come from third-party plants and cutters. Prices and timelines shown on the site are reference data, collected from the plants or published by them. They are not binding offers. Only a written quote from a plant or cutter binds its author.
No contract through the site
Sending a quote request through the site creates no contract, neither with the site nor with a plant or cutter. A production contract arises only from a direct agreement between you and the plant or cutter you choose.
Your files, your rights
By submitting a project, you guarantee that you hold the necessary rights to the audio and artwork to be pressed or cut, or that you have obtained all required permissions from the rights holders.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site for legitimate purposes, to provide accurate information, and not to send false or misleading requests or attempt to interfere with the operation of the site.
Intellectual property
The texts, comparisons, compiled data and presentation of the site belong to its operator or are used with permission. Commercial reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.
Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided as is. To the extent permitted by the laws of Quebec, the operator's liability for any damage related to the use of the site or to the services of referred third parties is limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there.
